Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a part-time domestic services worker to support Hospitals and Health Centres across Scotland. The role covers cleaning and related domestic tasks, ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, infection control, and the National Cleaning Services Specification.

Working hours are shown in the job description: Monday to Wednesday 17:30–20:00, Thursday 17:30–19:40, Friday 17:30–19:20, with salary pro-rata for part-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic services in Clinical and Non-Clinical Departments across Hospitals and Health Centres, ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, infection control and National Cleaning Services specifications.
• Follow division guidelines and QA checklists to meet Audit Scotland and HAI requirements.

Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of the Hospitals and Health Centres ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.
