Job summary

LRQA is seeking an experienced SOC Analyst to join the 24x7 monitoring team in the UK. You will detect, triage, and respond to threats using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and other security tools while coordinating with customers to reduce risk.

The role involves incident reporting, threat hunting, and continual improvement of alerts and playbooks, contributing to LRQA's cutting-edge security services and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of SIEM/EDR/EPP tech, focusing on threat detection and response using Microsoft tools.
• Ability to operate in a complex, high-performing service environment with security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of the 24x7 SOC Monitor Team, providing proactive defensive monitoring for clients.
• Generate detailed incident reports with recommendations and mitigations.
• Respond to alerts and customer requests within SLAs.
• Maintain awareness of Defensive Monitoring technologies and trends.
• Produce high-quality management and operational reports.
