Job summary

The University of East Anglia is seeking a dedicated security professional to join our team. You will undertake foot and vehicle patrols, deter crime, provide information to staff, students and visitors, assist with traffic management and respond to security incidents.

With a strong customer focus, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment 24 hours a day, year-round, protecting University property and welfare.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.
• Strong communication and customer care skills.
• Experience in security environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake foot and vehicle patrols to deter crime and anti-social behaviour.
• Provide information to staff, students and visitors.
• Assist with traffic management and respond to security incidents.
• Liaise with emergency services as required.
