Job summary

Disability North in Gateshead area is seeking a female personal assistant to support a Lady with a head injury at home in Hamsterley Mill near Rowlands Gill. The role involves 24/7 care with personal care, domestic tasks and transport duties, including accompanying on trips when required.

The successful candidate will hold a clean driving licence, experience with care or brain injuries preferred, and be comfortable with dogs.

Qualifications

• Clean driving licence required.
• Care experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Female candidate required due to occupational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 care and support to enable independence.
• Assist with personal care, home upkeep, cooking, medication, shopping and appointments.
• Accompany the client on trips/holidays and assist with dogs.
