Cumberland Council is seeking a dedicated team member to join the 24-hour homeless accommodation service in Carlisle. You will assist in delivering housing-related support, perform safety checks, and coordinate with internal teams to support residents' wellbeing and rehousing goals.

The role requires flexible shifts including weekends and overnight cover, with DBS checks enhanced for working with children and adults. A permanent contract is offered with a salary of £33,119 to £33,673 per annum.

Qualificações

• Experience working in housing support or related social care settings is desirable.
• Ability to work in a 24-hour service with shift patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Homeless Accommodation Manager and team in delivering a 24-hour direct access housing support service.
• Check residents in and out of homeless accommodation, handle incidents, safety checks and repairs coordination.
• Provide housing-related support and conduct assessments to help rehousing and wellbeing for residents in Carlisle.
