Job summary

Nottingham Community Housing Association Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Wellbeing Agent to support customers experiencing crisis through our 24/7 wellbeing helplines and assistive technology services. This office-based role at our Clifton centre provides emotional support and critical signposting to appropriate services.

You'll work 35 hours across 4 days on a rota to cover a 24/7 service, responding to calls and alarms, coordinate with emergency services, and install assistive

Qualifications

• Experience of working on crisis, wellbeing or support helpline.
• Understanding of mental health issues.
• Experience supporting vulnerable customers in a customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• Proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls from customers in distress and provide support and reassurance.
• Respond to alarms and notifications from assistive technology.
• Liaise with emergency services and healthcare professionals as required.
• Provide guidance and signposting to appropriate support services.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action.
• Install and configure assistive technology in customers' homes (training provided).
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and support out-of-hours services.
