Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking a Female Support Worker to join our team for a service user in Falkirk. The role involves 24‑hour support, including personal care, meal preparation and transportation with day and waking night shifts, on a zero‑hour contract.

The ideal candidate is attentive, patient and compassionate, with a focus on the service user's quality of life and dignity. You will accompany her to appointments and engage in community activities, with driving licence preferred for day trips

Qualifications

• Must have entitlement to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence preferred for day trips and community activities.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and show compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, clothing selection, oral hygiene and medication.
• Prepare and assist with healthy meals and feeding.
• Support the service user to attend appointments (GP, dentist) and community activities.
• Provide companionship, engage in activities, and accompany on outings.
• Work a 24‑hour package with day shifts and waking nights, 07:30–19:30 and 19:30–07:30.
