Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership are developing new roles to support the actions in the Mental Health Strategy 2017-2027 and the Primary Care Improvement Fund.
We are seeking to recruit a Primary Care Mental Health Nurse to join our established team in Midlothian.
This post will be varied and challenging, working across services and will require excellent assessment skills, a significant degree of flexibility, good team working and a demonstrated ability to solve problems.
The post will be managed within the Health and Social Care Partnership in Midlothian, providing outreach into GP Practices providing psychiatric assessments and interventions to those with mild to moderate mental health problems.
A Non Medical Prescribing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
This is an opportunity to truly influence and improve the primary care experience for people seeking mental health support within Midlothian. As a valued member of our integrated services you will be actively involved in developing and promoting the integration agenda.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
We are seeking experienced nurses with strong assessment skills to form part of the wider mental health services.
