Band 5 Physiotherapist

Role and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to work within our dynamic team, providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to adults within Edinburgh Health & Social Care Partnership. Our team works with people in their own homes and communities, enhancing their ability to maximise independence and deliver person centred goal focused rehabilitation.

The aims of the service include promotion of mobility and functional independence, self-management, prevention of physical deterioration and rehabilitation following a hospital stay. The role also includes supervision of health care support workers and students and offers opportunities to become involved in-service development.

The team is part of the wider Physio@Home and Associated Services with access to regular in-service training and support. A strong supervision and support structure is in place.
