A leading healthcare trust in Dumfries and Galloway is seeking Specialist Radiographers to join their team providing a 24/7 imaging service. Candidates should have proven experience in MRI, strong people skills, and a sound knowledge of clinical guidelines. This role offers opportunities for personal development and training while supporting a busy MRI department.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Dumfries & Galloway for Specialist Radiographers to join our team and support in the provision of our 24/7 imaging service.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have well developed people skills, can lead safely, effectively and efficiently. We are a forward looking department who invest in staff training and are keen to develop our service; we would expect you to participate in staff development/training.
This role is based in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary, on a 1 year fixed term basis, and you would be expected to support our EWD and weekend working provision. This role is for candidates who have proven experience in MRI and who can demonstrate a sound working knowledge of clinical guidelines and safety standards within this area.
This role is based in our MRI department at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary where we carry out 6000+ MRI exams per year. The DGRI site opened in 2017 and as such has state of the art digital equipment.
We are part of the Scottish National PACS service and have recently upgraded to a PACS reporting set up.
