A healthcare organization in Edinburgh is seeking a full-time Clinical Administration Team Lead to oversee the clinical administration team at Western General Hospital. The role involves managing clinical waiting time targets, training staff, and ensuring high-quality administration. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills, along with experience in administrative services. An exciting new opportunity has arisen to lead the clinical administration team within the department of Medical Physics.
We are looking for a full-time Clinical Administration Team Lead to contribute to the management of the departments clinical waiting time targets by monitoring administration systems and responsible for training the team when implementing changes to these systems to ensure all patients achieve their agreed waiting times. You will work closely with the administration manager to support the senior management team within Medical Physics, both in the operational and performance management of their clinical administrative services.
We are looking for a reliable, well organised, and highly motivated individual to lead the clinical administration service based at Western General Hospital. You will need experience of delivering a high-quality administration service, be conscientious with the ability to work under pressure and be able to plan & coordinate a demanding workload in order to meet strict deadlines. The nature of the work requires accuracy, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to liaise with senior managers, clinical team members and patients. You will be responsible for the organisation of your own workload and delegating decisions/actions to a team of clinical administrators. Candidates will also need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and be able to appropriately prioritise workload with the needs of the service.
Candidates will need to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and sound administrative and typing skills. They will need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be organised and possess excellent IT skills.
