An opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent Infection Prevention and Control Nurse, delivering a planned program for infection prevention and control. The base location will be discussed at interview, but coverage across all NHS Lothians sites will be required.

The role of the IPCN is to provide specialist knowledge and education in all aspects of Infection Prevention and Control to multidisciplinary teams and services. You must be a Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration and willing to undertake additional specialist training, e.g., Infection Prevention and Control Specialist Practitioner Qualification. A broad range of clinical experience is desirable, with significant clinical practice.
