A healthcare organization is seeking a part-time position (18.5 hours) in the Technology (Mechanical) Section of Oncology Physics. The post holder will participate in linear accelerator maintenance, QA, repairs, and the development of new equipment. Candidates must have a degree or equivalent knowledge, experience in mechanical engineering, and ideally some knowledge of radiotherapy physics. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. Interviews are scheduled for 11/09/25.

The post holder will be part of a small team (2.5 whole time equivalent) and contribute to the routine duties in the section, including linear accelerator maintenance, QA and repair, and development of new equipment. Two 3-d printers have recently been bought by the department. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for the work involved. The interviews will take place on 11/09/25..
Minimum qualifications are a degree or an equivalent level of knowledge. Experience in mechanical engineering including Machine Shop experience is essential, and some knowledge of radiotherapy physics would be beneficial.
