NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to join their team, contributing to the mechanical services and maintenance of healthcare facilities. The role involves ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with legislative standards while serving various hospitals. Applicants should have a recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and experience in planned maintenance.

To provide mechanical services to meet the needs of the board healthcare facilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, by delivering a planned maintenance, repair and installations service which represents quality and value for money at all times.
To provide a safe maintenance service to all plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the Board’s hospitals and premises ensuring delivery of all works to relevant legislation standards incorporating STHM 03 – 01-part A&B.
Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering e.g. City & Guilds ONC or equivalent.
