A leading healthcare provider in Dumfries is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join their dedicated team. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic ward environment under the supervision of registered health professionals. Successful candidates will receive training. This is a permanent position for 30 hours per week with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Ward C6 is a 30 bedded ward specialising in Orthopaedics & Trauma. C6 is a fast paced dynamic environment and the post holder will be involved in working closely with the multi-disciplinary team in providing safe and effective patient care.
We are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our dedicated team to deliver high quality, effective patient care, in support of and under the direction and supervision of registered health care professionals.
This post is permanent for 30 hours per week. The shift patterns consist of 12 hours/7.5 hours day shifts rotating to 11.5 hours night shifts, including weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the service.
Successful candidates will be provided with training and education to support their development to perform observation taking, blood sugar monitoring, ECG, blood sampling and cannulation and any further training the candidate may wish. Candidates must also remain up to date with Statutory and Mandatory Training
