NHS Scotland is seeking a qualified pharmacist to deliver high standard pharmacy services and support integrated care. This role involves advising healthcare staff and ensuring safe pharmaceutical practices. Successful candidates will have a PVG membership and demonstrate compliance with UK working permissions.

Role: To provide pharmacy services of the agreed standard of pharmaceutical care for the identified patient population, safely, effectively and within the defined limits of responsibility, resources and activity.
To support the provision of Pharmacy Clinical and Technical Services.
To provide prescribing and professional advice to medical, nursing and other healthcare staff and contribute to good clinical governance in the use of medicines.
The post-holder is expected to support the local delivery of the ‘Prescription for Excellence- A vision and action plan for the right pharmaceutical care through integrated partnerships and innovation’.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigrations Service.
