NHS Scotland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead improvements in urgent mental health care pathways. This 18-month fixed-term role requires an experienced professional with strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across complex healthcare systems.
NHS Lothian is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to support the Mental Health Transformation Programme, with a focus on redesigning urgent and unscheduled mental health care pathways.
This key role supports improvements in how mental health urgent care is accessed and experienced across the Lothian system. The post holder will collaborate with operational and clinical leads across acute sites, HSCPs, emergency services, and third-sector partners.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering change within complex systems, ideally within health or social care. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work with data and manage competing priorities.
This post is offered on a fixed-term or secondment basis for 18 months. NHS applicants are encouraged to discuss secondment options with their line manager prior to applying.
