PROJECT TEAM MANAGER (West Port)

NHS Lothian is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to support the Mental Health Transformation Programme, focusing on redesigning urgent and unscheduled mental health care pathways.

This key role aims to improve access and experience of urgent mental health care across the Lothian system. The post holder will collaborate with operational and clinical leads across acute sites, HSCPs, emergency services, and third-sector partners.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering change within complex systems, preferably in health or social care. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze data and manage multiple priorities.

This position is offered on a fixed-term or secondment basis for 18 months. NHS applicants are encouraged to discuss secondment options with their line manager before applying.

Due to legislative changes effective from 1 April 2025, this role may require a different level of criminal records check. If classified as a "regulated role," appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. Any updates to these requirements will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
