NHS Lothian seeks a dynamic leader for a new management role in Women's Services. The successful candidate will oversee Gynaecology, Neonatal, and Fertility Services, ensuring high-quality patient care. This position has been created following a recent management restructure to provide additional management roles and develop new service area portfolios across Women’s Services.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and forward-thinking individual to join our team.
As a member of the Women’s & Children’s Directorate leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing, leading, and performance managing Gynaecology, Neonatal, and Fertility Services.
NHS Lothian Women’s Services provide secondary and tertiary services supporting local, regional, and national patient care.
You should have experience in managing and delivering operational clinical services, service improvement, and quality improvement, including extensive staff and financial management experience.
Interviews will be held in person on TBA.
Leadership skills are essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, influencing, and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver change.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Clinical Directors and Clinical Nurse and Midwifery Managers, you will lead a portfolio supporting both acute and community-based scheduled and unscheduled care, ensuring Gynaecology, Neonatology, and Fertility Services deliver safe, effective, patient-centered care.
