An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified BSL Interpreter to join NHS Lothians Interpretation & Translation service

The post is fixed term for 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, forward-thinking individual who can support the delivery of an effective and efficient BSL Interpretation service to NHS Lothian

Providing professional, accurate and effective Sign Language interpretation and translation into Sign Language service in the relevant Sign Language dialect on behalf of NHS Lothian

You will facilitate communication between deaf patients / service users and healthcare professionals who do not share a common language.
