Job summary

Job description

Job Purpose

To plan, develop, deliver and evaluate the training and education across area of responsibility enhancing the quality of practical learning experiences and positively contributes to the development of the nursing/midwifery/ODP workforce in line with local and national directives. The role has a direct clinical component to ensure clinical skills/competencies and credibility are maintained.

In support of the development of nursing/midwifery/ODP services the post holder will be required to liaise with all relevant specialties, identifying learning needs and strategies to achieve best practice, seamless paths of care and ensure a high standard of practice is provided within all areas.

To work alongside staff, including registered and non-registered staff, to support their learning and the achievement of clinical skills competencies.
