Leading a small team you will be responsible for providing support to the Financial Accountant to ensure that the financial ledger is accurate and reconciled on a monthly basis and will have a key role in the delivery of the statutory annual accounts. You will also be responsible for producing clear and concise information which will be used by the wider finance team, managers within the organisation and externally including Scottish Government.

We are looking for someone who has an existing understanding of accounting standards, practical experience of using accounting software, who is able to demonstrate attention to detail and are ultimately keen to further develop their financial accounting skills. Ideally the candidate would be looking to study towards a professional accountancy qualification.
