Job summary

Harrow College is seeking an Employability Events and Trips Coordinator to plan and deliver a full programme of trips and events across the HRUC sites. You will lead administration and co‑ordination for the Turing Scheme activities and oversee travel arrangements, site visits, competitions and awards for students.

The role requires excellent organisational, IT and communication skills, experience in busy administration, and the ability to work across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a busy administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of organising overseas trips.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with students and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the Turing Scheme or international work placements (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Lead administration and organisation for HRUC’s Turing Scheme activities and trips.
  • Coordinate events and employer engagements.
  • Support and organise student-facing employability activities and maintain a high-quality service delivery.
  • Contribute to new initiatives and process improvements.

Employability Events and Trips Coordinator

Location: Uxbridge/Harrow/Richmond Colleges Salary: £28,209 to £33,621 per annum including London Weighting Post Type: Full Time Release Date: Tuesday 18 August 2026 Closing Date: Wednesday 02 September 2026 Reference: 2177

In this role, you would be responsible for planning and implementing a full range of trips that operate from the HRUC Employability Team. You would be the lead co‑ordinator for administration and organisation related to HRUC’s Turing Scheme activities. You will also lead on the administration and organisation of trips and other activities such as site visits, competition and awards. You would also support and organise employer events and student facing employability activities, maintaining a high‑quality service delivery and contributing to new initiatives.

We are seeking to appoint a well‑organised and motivated individual who can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience working in a busy administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
  • Experience of organising overseas trips
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide a professional service to students and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the Turing Scheme or international work placements (desirable)
