An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business and Administration Team in the Department of Public Health for administrative support. The department aims to improve and protect health in Lothian as part of a whole system approach to public health in Scotland.
The Business and Administration Division provides administrative, clerical, and project support to colleagues working in Public Health and Health Policy.
The successful candidate should have a good understanding of administrative and clerical tasks, experience with IT skills, calendar management, and knowledge of standard software programs. Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Candidates should be motivated, flexible, and adaptable. We support and encourage skill development in administration. This role offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team, develop your skills, and support functions in Public Health and Health Policy.
The post-holder will work closely with a Business Support Officer and support the Head of Workforce.
This role will be hybrid, with minimum office presence required weekly. The postholder will also need to cover our Canaan Park office at Astley Ainslie.
