As Subject Matter Expert (SME) in fire operational management, provide expert advice on fire safety responsibilities to managers, staff and other stakeholders including Estates where the fire strategy is maintained through adequate building control, ensuring NHS Lothian delivers our statutory obligations to staff, patients and visitors with all aspects of fire operational safety.
Responsible for reporting on fire safety performance indicators, Fire Risk Assessments (FRA’s) and demand continuous improvement in all aspect of fire safety and reduction of NHS Lothian risk profile.
To provide advice on a range of projects including new premises and renovations to existing premises by surveying, evaluating and reviewing plans to ensure legal compliance.
