This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. This post provides an exciting and challenging opportunity to join an experienced and highly motivated team within the Outpatient and Associated Services Directorate.

The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects within the External Providers Office mainly based around developing service improvement – they will work closely alongside the External Commissioning and Demand Manager and the Senior Manager for Capacity and Development.

  • Responsible for the management of a small project or specified areas within larger projects
  • Experience of planning and delivering services within a healthcare context.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and professional confidence to engage with a wide range of key stakeholders at all levels from within and out with NHS Lothian.
  • Experience of monitoring targets and performance indicators.
  • Experience with invoicing
