Job description

We are looking to recruit a motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Primary Care Pharmacy Team.

Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Support Worker, you will help deliver an enhanced pharmacy service to patients and support the delivery of pharmacotherapy to GP practices.

The post holder will be based within the pharmacy hub in Annan, working in a varied and stimulating multi-professional environment.

We are an evolving team, committed to supporting staff training and development, and delivering innovative pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients in Dumfries & Galloway.

Responsibilities

1. Dealing with medicine-related queries.
2. Communicating with community pharmacies and GP practices.
3. Completing Level 1 medication reviews. Full training provided via our induction plan.

Positions Available

• 1 Post - 21.5 hours per week, Permanent.
• 1 Post - 17.5 hours per week, Fixed term until 10 November 2026.
