The post holder provides leadership for patient care within their area of responsibility. They have managerial responsibility in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, including staff supervision and deployment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, they are responsible for assessing care needs, evaluating care plans, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. The post holder is accountable for maintaining clinical and staff governance.
