Position: Specialist Doctor in Dermatology (Part-Time)

This is a part-time Specialist Doctor post based in the NHS Lothian Department of Dermatology, located in the Lauriston Building, adjacent to the former Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh hospital site. The department also runs outreach clinics in East and West Lothian.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council;
  • Have completed a minimum of 10 years’ medical work since obtaining a primary medical qualification, with at least six years in a relevant specialty within the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades. Equivalent experience from other medical grades, including overseas, will also be accepted;
  • Meet the criteria set out in the Specialist grade generic capabilities framework.
