Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner
Job Role:
Work as an autonomous and independent member of the Haemophilia MDT and MSK Physiotherapy Outpatient Department to provide assessment, diagnosis, analysis, and management of patients with Haemophilia.
Lead and develop the Haemophilia Physiotherapy Service across NHS Lothian, implementing evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, agencies, carers, clients, and relatives. The role includes clinical expertise, education, and audit responsibilities.
Engage in service development, audit, and research activities to enhance the Haemophilia Physiotherapy Service.
Contribute to clinical guidance development for Scottish Haemophilia Physiotherapy Services.
Participate in outreach education and training for non-specialist physiotherapists on bleeding disorder management.
