This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. Join our dedicated pharmacy team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and play a vital role in supporting the safe provision of medicines within a hospital aseptic services environment.
About the Role
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) is a large teaching hospital with an established reputation for offering best practices across a wide variety of specialist services.
We are seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Support Worker (PSW) to join our well established pharmacy team to support in the delivery of excellent hospital pharmacy aseptic services. Our team is made out of pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacy technicians and PSWs. We are a friendly team who maintain safe provision of medicines to the RIE site. PSWs are key members to the service delivery.
We will provide education and training during which you will learn about clean room environment and the many different procedures that we have to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and undertake support roles to fulfil the functions of an aseptic unit.
