We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and well-motivated radiographer to join our busy imaging team. The successful candidate will rotate through CT and MRI departments and will be involved in the practical and theoretical teaching of students and radiographers on rotation from the general department.
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh is a major trauma centre, requiring 24/7 on-site coverage for CT, which the successful candidate will be part of. Evening and weekend work in CT and MRI is also expected within a 37-hour workweek.
The department is equipped with Canon Aquilion Prism, Prime SP, and Lightning CT scanners, as well as Philips Intera Ambition X and Siemens Magnetom Aera MRI scanners.
Imaging team radiographers are encouraged to pursue further education and ongoing professional development. A flexible approach to work is essential, and the postholder must be committed to providing high-quality service to patients, customers, and colleagues.
