Job Description:

Sunday and Monday

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist Radiographers and Radiologists during various examinations including Radiographic, Mammographic, MRI, CT, Radionuclide, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopic procedures.
  2. Provide direct specialist clinical support and maintain specialist equipment and the imaging environment to ensure high-quality patient services.
  3. Ensure compliance with PVG Scheme membership/record requirements. If not currently a member, candidates must apply through Disclosure Scotland and obtain satisfactory clearance before starting.
  4. This is a Trainee post; therefore, Annex 21 applies, with pay scales adjusted according to the duration of training as specified.
Training Pay Scale (Annex 21):
  • Up to 12 months before completing training: 75% of the pay band maximum of the fully qualified rate.
  • More than one year but less than two years before completion: 70%.
  • More than two years but less than three years before completion: 65%.
  • More than three years from completion: 60%.
