We are seeking HCPC-registered Therapeutic Radiographers, or student radiographers due to qualify/newly qualified radiographers with HCPC registration pending. Candidates should have knowledge and skills in modern radiotherapy techniques, and be adaptable and confident with change. The successful applicants will rotate through the pre-treatment and treatment areas and supervise students.
The Edinburgh Cancer Centre provides a wide range of radiotherapy services for patients across the SE Scotland Cancer Network. Our facilities include seven Varian linacs (including seven TrueBeam systems), two linacs with ExacTrak imaging technology, Elekta HDR brachytherapy, Xstrahl superficial x-ray unit, and two Philips Big Bore CTSimulators. We utilise advanced techniques such as VMAT, IGRT, DIBH, SABR for lung and oligometastatic disease, and SRS, including the Scottish National Stereotactic Service for benign diseases. The centre is research-active, supporting CPD, education, research activities, and expanding our clinical trials portfolio.
