This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e., child and/or adult), then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in the post.

Fixed Term for two years.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide organisational and administrative management of projects and clinical research studies run by the Edinburgh Orthopaedics Research Team.
2. Ensure that projects are managed effectively, and data related to the research projects and clinical studies are collected and maintained to high standards.
3. Promote and assist the ongoing development of systems and processes that support quality data collection and study information management.
4. Support Edinburgh Orthopaedic Research Database (EORD) in maintaining and reporting a high level of research activity, including daily input of accurate study information contributing to the annual report metrics and other organisational activity information.
