The core activity of the Central Sterile Services Department is the disassembly, disinfection, assembly, packing, and sterilisation of re-usable medical devices. The post holder will become part of a multi-disciplined team providing a high-quality decontamination service to Theatres, Clinics, and other patient treatment areas across Dumfries and Galloway.
You will receive support and gain knowledge and skills in all aspects of the decontamination processes by following the departmental training programme.
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday 1600-2000 (Shift times will differ initially due to training requirements)
