As part of our workforce plan, we are recruiting skilled pharmacy technicians to contribute to our growing service. This recruitment is made possible through positive movements within the service. You will have the opportunity to work in various patient-focused roles across multiple specialist areas, including dispensary, aseptic unit, distribution, clinical trials, and clinical areas. About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • A National Certificate in Pharmacy Services and an SVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
  • Enthusiasm for learning and development, a professional attitude, and a passion for working in healthcare.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care and supporting a patient-centred approach.
  • A strong alignment with NHS Lothian’s values and a willingness to contribute to our dynamic team.
  • Flexibility to support evening and weekend working when required.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
