Our Support Workers are a pivotal part of the success of the service we provide.

What we look for in an ICES Support Worker (Driver/Fitter):
  • Safe driving of a commercial vehicle, decontamination/recycling of equipment by hand and industrial machinery, and undertaking the delivery, installation, and collection of community equipment from service user’s homes across the region.
  • Basic DIY/equipment assembly skills and the ability to do lifting and movement of equipment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to use and willingness to learn new technology, attention to detail, friendliness, and approachability.
  • A good communicator, resilient when needed, and empathetic in nature.
  • The role involves decontaminating, delivering, fitting, demonstrating, and collecting equipment within/from a client’s residence.
