An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse to join our team, supporting the Senior Charge Nurse with clinical leadership, coordinating, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within Acorn House (Short Break Respite Services for Children and Young People with complex needs, profound health needs, behavioral and physical disabilities).

The post holder will possess a recognized paediatric nursing qualification and will be expected to participate in further education and training to enhance personal and professional development.

The post holder will take charge of the unit on a regular basis and will deputize in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.

The post holder will be expected to participate in ongoing development within the unit.

The post holder must have leadership qualities and skills, evidencing extensive knowledge and experience of multi-agency working and local child protection guidelines and policies.
