To support the store management team in driving sales and profit by supervising and coaching customer consultants. In the absence of store management, demonstrate leadership by delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring adherence to company procedures, policies, and upholding the values and vision of The Body Shop. This role as a Team Leader will be offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract.
As a Team Leader, you will work independently with minimal direction, acting with a sense of urgency. You will handle customer concerns effectively and provide feedback to store management. You will support store maintenance, inventory management, and other operations, coaching Customer Consultants to achieve high service standards. You will also be a passionate ambassador for The Body Shop campaigns.
You will understand sales trends, use storytelling to enhance customer experience, and adapt to changing retail environments. Operating multiple systems confidently, meeting sales targets, and assisting in recruiting are key responsibilities. You will perform opening and closing procedures according to operational standards and complete audit documentation. Strong relationship skills are essential for coordinating between customers, the team, and management.
