Purpose of the role

To participate in the day-to-day operations of the technology function, working across a range of technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Our Explorer Programme

You’ll join our explorer programme, a 2-year programme designed to give you depth and breadth of experience. Participating in job-based bespoke training from the start enables you to go fully equipped into your role as you embark on the first of three eight-month-long rotations.

You’ll build technical awareness, problem-solving skills, and an understanding of how technology enables a global financial services business.

Barclays will accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK and will provide a skilled worker visa for successful applicants if they meet the Home Office’s eligibility criteria for a skilled worker visa.

Successful applicants who are not eligible to receive a skilled worker visa, and who we are therefore unable to secure a skilled worker visa for, will be required to have their own legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis from August 2027 to August 2029.
