Montagu Evans is a UK property consultancy that helps clients unlock value from complexity, because that’s where the most meaningful opportunities live.
Our purpose is to bring clarity, creativity, and conviction to the complex. We are experts who collaborate to create value, not just preserve it and our team is built for impact, not oversight.
We specialise in high-value, complex assets across the property lifecycle, where political, technical or commercial challenges demand a joined-up approach.
Planning is one of the largest departments at Montagu Evans and one of the biggest P&D departments operating in the UK. We have over 100 staff structured into four Groups: Housing & Land, Commercial, Historic Environment and Townscape, and Scotland. Our Scottish team comprises 10 planning and heritage professionals, and advises a wide range of private and public sector clients including many of the country's leading developers, financial institutions and landowners.
Our team works closely with other Montagu Evans specialisms including advisory, market specialisms, socio-economics and strategic consulting.
Successful Graduate will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects within the Scottish market, and with significant scope for personal development and progression within the structure of our team.
Our two-year Graduate Program is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working directly alongside Partners and other senior colleagues across the business. From day one, your team will value your perspective, give you real responsibility and rely on your contribution. Over the course of your training, your knowledge, skills and experience will grow, preparing you for your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and a successful and rewarding career with us.
The structured training programme will allow you to gain experience across a range of project and clients with comprehensive support from peers and mentors. You will have genuine responsibility from day one with exposure to some of the largest commercial, residential and mixed-use property projects in the UK today. We encourage all our Graduates to explore, question and collaborate across the business.
We invest in our Graduates over two years with the purpose of building long term careers. We offer a market-leading salary, benefits and lots of opportunities for learning, development and progression.
With a keen interest and awareness of property news/industry and the current market, you will be able to demonstrate a great understanding of how you apply what you have learnt at university to real property matters.
We’re not expecting you to know everything on day one -our Graduate Programme is designed to teach you. What matters most is your potential, your mindset, and your passion for building a career with us.
