Carter Jonas in Oxford is offering a 3-year Graduate Programme in Building Surveying for ambitious graduates, with start between July and September 2027 and interview in Nov/Dec 2026. You will rotate across key areas and gain hands-on experience with project management, surveys and contract administration.

You will receive APC support, dedicated supervisors, and a clear development path toward chartership, in a fast-paced environment serving diverse clients and assets across the UK.

We are looking for ambitious students with a background in/knowledge of the sector to join our growing Building Surveying teams in Oxford on a 3-year Graduate Programme.

We are seeking ambitious Graduates to join our Building Surveying team. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career within a fast-paced and highly regarded Building Surveying team, working with a diverse range of clients, assets and projects across the UK.

Our Building Surveying graduate programme is designed to challenge and support you from day one. You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of projects, developing both your technical expertise and professional confidence through hands‑on experience across key areas of building surveying, including project management, contract administration, building pathology, dilapidations, technical due diligence and refurbishment projects. Working alongside experienced surveyors, you'll be encouraged to take ownership of your development while playing an active role in delivering solutions for clients.

What will it take to be successful?

We are looking for forward thinking students with a can‑do attitude, who have the ability to manage multiple projects and deal with a variety of work. You will ideally be studying for a RICS accredited Building Surveying degree. Previous experience gained through placements, internships or work experience within the property sector will help you stand out.

Candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach to working with others, and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite. Given the nature of the role and the need to travel to client sites and properties, a full UK driving licence is essential.
