The Ministry of Justice is hiring for a Prison Officer at HMP Bure in England. You will work across rounds, shifts and duties, including peacekeeping, counselling and teaching in a single day, with a focus on protecting the public and staff.

A prison officer post at HMP Bure, a Ministry of Justice establishment, filled from a merit list. The work centres on protecting the public and building working relationships with prisoners, moving between peacekeeping, counselling and teaching in a single day. Round‑the‑clock running brings rotating shifts across evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays, with hours of 37, 39 or 41 a week chosen after training. No qualifications are required, but medical, fitness and eyesight checks apply, and visa sponsorship is unlikely for this campaign.
