Job description

Join our finance team as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst and become a key player in driving our brand's financial success! In this role, you will be a strategic business partner, providing insightful financial analysis and support to guide critical commercial decisions and maximize profitability.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will be responsible for supporting the division to deliver the budgeted Net Sales target. The Senior Finance Analyst will act as a business partner to support the Commercial Team through budget management with a focus on internal control and return on investment, ensuring accurate and correct allocation of investments.

Role Requirements

1. Assist the Commercial Team in maximizing profitable sales opportunities and monitor the commercial P&L evolution to promote optimal decision-making.
2. Provide financial support and guidance to Commercial Teams.
3. Identify and inform the Head of Commercial Finance of commercial risks and opportunities.
4. Prepare monthly financial and management reports for Divisional & Corporate Management and Head Office in Paris.
5. Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and provisions are raised in SAP.
6. Prepare key commercial reports, including customer P&L’s and stock analysis.
7. Lead ad hoc projects to improve controls and reporting.
8. Manage the commercial balance sheet.
9. Create financial trends and budgets aligned with brand and channel strategies.
10. Maintain controls in line with L'Oréal's group standards and support the year-end external audit.
11. Provide ad hoc analysis on specific topics for brand and division management.

Who You Are

You have:

1. Excellent analytical skills.
2. Outstanding rigor and attention to detail.
3. Strong interpersonal skills for close liaison with the Sales team.
4. Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
5. Experience in a consumer-driven and fast-paced sales environment.
6. Highly organized with prioritization skills and strong communication skills.
7. Strong numerical and commercial acumen.
8. Flexibility for an international career is a plus.
9. Strong presentation and influencing skills.
10. Experience in managing P&L, expansion analysis, and sales forecasts.
11. Ability to work in a dynamic and demanding environment.
