Trade and Technical Apprentice – Steel Fixer
A steel fixer is a tradesperson on site who ties and installs steel bars, known as rebar and steel mesh, used to strengthen concrete on construction projects.
Our Trade and Technical Apprenticeship programme is designed for individuals passionate about construction and engineering. It combines college education with work-based training, enabling you to develop skills and earn a recognised qualification while working on some of the UK's most exciting projects.
The programme provides a formal college education, leading to Level 2 and/or 3 apprenticeship standards in your chosen vocation. You will also acquire broad technical skills through on-the-job training, supported by our qualified workforce and construction professionals. A dedicated mentor and approved training provider will work closely with you, offering regular feedback on your progress towards completing your apprenticeship.
