Job description

L'Oréal Paris seeks a strategic Media Manager to orchestrate impactful, data-driven campaigns across makeup and skincare. Lead budget allocation, agency partnerships, and innovative media activations while maximizing ROI. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about media, apply!

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  1. Strategic Media Planning & Budget Management: Oversee media budget allocation across makeup and skincare, define priorities, and make data-driven investment decisions aligned with business goals (market share, consumer targeting, etc.), while adhering to budget and governance rules. Collaborate with brand and finance teams on spend management and phasing.
  2. Agency Partnership & ROI: Lead relationships with media agencies to develop and execute full-funnel media plans, incorporating best practices and learnings from internal studies (BETiQ, Rules of Engagement) to maximize media ROI.
  3. Data-Driven Media Activation: Drive the adoption of 1P data in media campaigns, leading test-and-learn initiatives and 2P activations to optimize performance.
  4. Competitive Analysis & Innovation: Analyze competitive investment trends, media mix, and creative strategies to inform L'Oréal Paris's media approach and identify innovative opportunities. Collaborate with the multi-divisional media team to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of media best practices.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders (brand teams) and external partners (media agencies, platforms, retailers, networks) to facilitate communication, collaboration, and achievement of business objectives.
  6. Team Development & Media Expertise: Provide media expertise and support to the brand team, fostering media upskilling and knowledge sharing within the team.
WHO YOU ARE
  1. Strong media expertise & experience, analyzing, owning & delivering full-funnel media plans.
  2. Strong understanding of different media channels & platforms, objectives & measurement techniques.
  3. Experience in media planning on traditional & digital channels.
  4. Proven experience in relevant media roles (agency, group, or advertiser).
  5. Comfortable with data analysis and budget management within complex environments.
  6. Experience working within matrix structures and reporting lines.
  7. Strong interest in media, market developments, and innovation, with curiosity to explore unproven ideas.
  8. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex or technical matters simply across all levels of the organization.
  9. A positive attitude towards ambiguity and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  10. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and agency partners.
  11. Strong understanding of Retail Media.
