Job description

L'Oréal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Manager to spearhead our online strategies and drive impactful results. If you're a data-driven innovator with a passion for all things digital and a proven track record of success, we invite you to take your career to the next level with this exciting opportunity.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  1. Collaborate with each of the brand teams (local and global) to plan future digital service deployment.
  2. Act as point of contact for the cross-divisional digital and marketing team (CDMO) to cascade services performance, best practices, and service optimisations where relevant for the division.
  3. Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance our service offering to benefit wider digital strategy. Follow through to execution as and when approved.
  4. Identify digital services that support driving footfall to salons, increase retention, or drive service value.
  5. Work proactively with agency SEO experts and CDMO/Divisional Media team to improve website visibility.
  6. Manage implementation of technical recommendations to ensure brand sites maintain consistently high traffic levels.
  7. Own website performance optimisation for the division.
  8. Manage the divisional web mastering resource: ensure accuracy and timeliness of briefs for new content creation and oversee workflow to ensure briefs are delivered on time.
  9. Be the divisional expert for tools such as Sitecore, Glassbox, and Google Analytics and support broader team upskilling accordingly.
  10. Establish a sampling strategy working with the divisional ecommerce team and relevant brand teams.
  11. Support content creation to enable digital upskilling for the industry via our professional education platform “Access”.
  12. Support the Digital Advisory Board (DAB) process for the division, working across all brands and relevant stakeholders to drive innovation and deliver new digital technology/services in a safe and compliant way; whilst driving stakeholder engagement and ensuring ongoing follow-up to ‘close the loop’ post-implementation.
  13. Provide regular insight and analysis for the leadership team to understand tech and services performance and identify opportunities accordingly.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Prior experience working within a digital team.
  • The ability to work effectively within a loose framework.
  • Personify a test and learn mentality, and are comfortable with failure in order to achieve success.
  • An ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear communication skills, with an ability to “simplify the complicated” to bring everyone on the transformation journey.
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, updating website content, and understanding performance metrics to define success.
  • Proven ability to be proactive and tenacious.
  • A passion for all things related to digital innovation.
  • Experience managing agency relationships.
  • Examples of working to a budget and setting ROI targets.
