About the Role

Through our Advisory & Advocacy services, we address pressing business challenges in the built environment, offering consultancy in Climate Advisory, Digital Advisory, Energy Economics, Societal Insights, Strategy & Stewardship, and Utilities & Infrastructure.

As a Graduate Advisory & Advocacy Consultant, you will work within our multidisciplinary team, delivering value through innovative solutions. You will help tackle challenges in the following areas:

  • Climate resilience and decarbonization strategies.
  • Digital transformation and smart technology integration.
  • Creating people-centered environments with societal insights.
  • Sustainable energy economics for a Net Zero future.
  • Strategy & Stewardship for ESG compliance and innovation.
  • Utilities & infrastructure to meet growing demands sustainably.

The Utilities team collaborates with MEP engineers and sustainability teams, covering water, gas, electricity, telecoms, and energy services. We manage projects from start to finish, negotiating optimal prices and timeframes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Supporting live projects across healthcare, education, and urban development sectors.
  • Conducting research, data modeling, and analysis to solve client challenges.
  • Performing site due diligence activities related to utilities.
  • Creating coordination drawings for utility integration.
  • Collaborating with clients on strategies and solutions.
  • Participating in service design sprints and workshops.
  • Developing expertise in technical, business, and societal aspects of the built environment.

About You

  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in utilities or related fields.
  • Achieved or expected 2.1 or above in an IET or CIBSE accredited degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is a plus.
  • Grid code exposure is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
