The Business
Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) is one of the world’s largest insurance brokers and risk advisory firms, offering a comprehensive collection of services to a diverse client base - from small businesses to multinational corporations. Our expert services and support encompass risk assessment, risk management and advisory, risk transfer and placement, and claim advocacy. We pride ourselves on our scale, reach, and entrepreneurial approach. In CRB, we guide clients in understanding, assessing, and managing their risks through a wide range of advisory and insurance broking services. The Role
The CRB Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is a two-year program that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands on experience, insight and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career. The program provides the opportunity for graduates to work hands on with senior leadership alongside client facing exposures from accounts ranging in the Fortune 500 sector to smaller market local business areas.

The role of an actuary in CRB provides an enviable balance of technical and client-facing opportunities. Not only will you be able to work on challenging real-world technical problems which make a meaningful difference to our clients, but you will also get the opportunity to present the results of this work, to colleagues and ultimately to clients. You will have the autonomy to organise your own workload and will be strongly encouraged to innovate to make improvements to the way in which work is done and to the services we provide.
The Actuarial Qualification
During the GDP and beyond you will study to become Fellows of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. WTW will support you through the actuarial exams with a study mentor and a complete and flexible study support package that includes:
You will also have the support of students and qualified actuaries, who can share their experiences of studying for the exams. Those studying towards the actuarial qualification receive salary increases for each exam passed, in addition to increases that are awarded as part of their annual salary review. Please note, in order to maintain these study benefits, the learner will need to demonstrate continued exam success in working towards the actuarial qualification.
